8th Japan trip! DAY 2 - KYOTO... land of geishas & temples...

i love banana chocolate milk... in fact... i like banana chocolate of anything.. like cakes or ice cream.... its nice combination, agree?

Behind me.... is JR KYOTO STATION!! (JR = Japan Railway)... it changed quite alot... i was here 5yrs ago...

back in 2004... i came to kyoto during my exchange program with ngee ann poly... i was staying here with all my japanese classmates! sooooo nostalgic!!! its still the same... :)

my crazy mum was running around trying to catch them... she forgot they have wings to fly unlike chicken...

to prevent people from stealing your shoes.... put your shoes in the plastic bag and carry around!!!! interesting huh...

their bus stop quite stylish right! its like an art work!

we went on taking photo wherever we seee nice red and yellow leaves...

but we didn't realise that.... that place was actually crematorium!!! no wonder i saw everyone in black and white!!! ops... they must be thinking that we are crazy to take photos around there!!!

ok finally... reached the place for tourists.... kiyomizu dera!!! nice place... was here in spring 5yrs back... and autumn is seriously more stunning!!!

they said this is a love stone... and there is actually another love stone behind... you are supposed to close your eyes and walk from one to the other... if you managed to reach it with no problem... you will have a smooth relationship! i wonder if it really works! didn't try... too many people around!

i like Japanese amulet from temple... its so nice! i remember when i watch japanese drama... always see them carry and hang on their bags... different temple have different design and colours!

this is another way of getting your prayers answered!!

HELLO GEISHAS!!! my aunt, grandma and mum soooo excited to see them and ran over to take photo with them!!!

NOW IS THE LEE BROTHERS TURN! hahaa... its not that this is my first time but I just like to take photo with geisha...

*ACTUALLY.... those you see on the streets are not geisha... they are actually MAIKO... so what is maiko? they are geisha apprentice! yup... the real geisha dun walk around LIKE THAT!

i thought only tibet have this! hmmmm.....

MAIKO again! i really have not idea what they are carrying on their arms...

so sad... we went to kinkakuji... its UNDER RENOVATION!!!! this temple is totally made of GOLD! yes... u can google and find some photos of it... its so nice! GOLD TEMPLE!

walk around and saw some nice cafe... i always like how Japanese cafe wrote their menu on the board... its soooo artistic and cool!!

plenty of rice cracker around!!! mainly soy sauce version!!

Currently my top fav band... i like the main vocalist's voice! damm coool.... i actually did heard their songs 5years ago but did not really explore other of their songs... until one fine day KEN introduced me again... he sent me ROBINSON! it's really nice!! i thought its their new single... but it is actually 10years ago! how cool can it be! a song sounds like its just release!

so this japan trip i bought 5 of their old albums from used cd shops! i am indulging in their songs everyday now!!!

kreva is a very famous hip hop rapper in japan... he approached spitz main vocalist to sing for him! amazing song!!

for your information... previously i introduced hirai ken, he also approached spitz main vocalist to sing in his latest Jazz album!!
