SIM CANOEPOLO 1st AGM & IVP CELEBRATION DINNER
To everyone!I officially declared that the 1st committee for SIM CANOEPOLO is FORMED!!! HURRAY!! As the founder of SIM canoepolo, I promised to strive and achieve what I had did when I was President of Ngee Ann Canoeing Club. I will utilise my experience and together with my committee we will help to recruit new players in SIM to expand our canoepolo community.
First of all, I would also like to thank all my committee members for helping me to set up the team. Setting up a new team, new family and create a new culture is not easy. I am sure we will do a good job.
Next, I would also like to thank SP, NP and TP for lending us their boats for the competition. The reason for setting up this canoepolo team is to revive the passion for those who once loved canoepolo but have no chance to play again and those who still very much in love with the sport.
Therefore, together with this year 2008 Canoepolo National Championship's theme, A DECADE OF PASSION, I hope those who once loved the sport should make a comeback and continue playing this sport.
In addition, we, TEAM SIM is made up of players from SP, NP and TP, we may all come from different school but we all love the same thing, CANOEPOLO! Forget about all our past rivalries, and let's build up our new friendship. Together we will continue to help to train our own juniors in our own poly. Being about to share about tactics will bring us up another level because if we don't learn from one another, we won't be able to improve!
Last of all, congratulation to TEAM SIM for achieving such good result for our 1st IVP debut. 3rd for Men IVP and 2nd for Women IVP. We will be aiming higher next year. ALL THE BEST!!

Raymond will be SIM Men Vice Captain. I was never really a captain. So I will learn to be a good one from an experienced captain. We used to be against each other during IVP, NP vs TP, but now we are gonna play side by side for another 2 more IVP? haha....
Serene(right) will be the Women Captain. With no experience back in NP, I would say she did a very good job for the team within this short period of time. And Alexis (left) is the Vice Captain will assist Serene as she used to be NP Women Captain. Serene: the road ahead wont be easy but I am sure that if we keep moving forward and being positive, we should be able to reach our destination. :)
Head of Publicity will be Shi Min (right) and Erica (left) will be the assistant publicity. I think they will be very good publicity. Because I have already have a stack of work for them to do! GOOD LUCK! haha..
Jasmine is the head of secretary. With vincent assisting you, should not be a problem cause he is full of experience! President of 16th committee of Ngee Ann Canoeing Club. I was the 20th! haha.. anyway jasmine... now very hi-tech already... handwriting ugly never mind. can type out the document. remember u can email not snail mail ok? haha
Daphne (right) will be head of treasurer. June Chen (left) will be sharing her burden. U all can ask tiong! she is very good with $$$$$$$
007: De wei (left) is the assisting Human Resource while Benson (right) will be the BOSS of human resource. U will have cold calls to do soon ok! u can have ALL the girls number.... haha
Yanren (right) will be the head of logistic and mark (left) will be the logistic assistant. Yanren... u should know army have alot of free stuff huh... that's why u are the logistic head!! just kidding hahaha
We had our dinner at Aston at Cathay House... omg.. alot funny things happened... i laugh and knocked onto the plate the waitress was carrying... WTF can! HIT MY NOSE! sian sia... and poor erica... first to order last to receive!
shi min thinks that we are not ordering enough... she helps us order MORE!! haha... anyway its her TREAT wat! thank you lady boss! u very pretty!!
when de wei received his plate... everyone just laugh at his HOT DOG! hahahaa.... if denise was there... she will be like... SO SMALL!!!
benson is really crazy... squeeze sooooo much of chili sauce.. ahaha... u eat so much... wont make u very hot one... hahah
was trying to take photo of everyone in the lift... but end up... alot ppl got cut out of the pic! hahaha
went coffee club for our meeting :) i am sure u all cant wait to do ur work given by me right!??! hahaahha... thank you everyone for making SIM canoepolo a dream comes true.... :)
